Go into profile > preferences, and find "Always notify me of replies" and change it to "no" unless you like your inbox filling with crap.

everybody's who was regged as of this writing, I already fixed this for you by manually editing your profiles as a mod. if you wanna change it back, it's your funeral.

what are the limits on your storage capacity? i remember in freeboards it starts randomly deleting posts after a thousand or so.
